Who am I

Hello! I'm Aarika! I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself. Nestled at the intersection of tranquility and adventure, my life revolves around the blissful practice of yoga, hiking and adventures, the boundless joy that comes with the companionship of my fur kids and my husband, the art of healthy cooking, and a deep love for sound healing and music. As a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), I obtained my 200 and 300-hour teacher training from Peachtree Yoga Center. Additionally, I hold certifications in Sound Healing at Levels 1 and 2, further enriching my journey as a holistic wellness guide.

My path into teaching is deeply rooted in a passion for sharing the transformative gifts that yoga and sound healing have brought to my own life. Guiding others through the art of movement, breath, self-discovery, and the healing power of sound is not just a profession for me; it's a calling. Whether we're flowing through sun salutations, exploring the great outdoors, creating delicious and nourishing meals, or immersing ourselves in the therapeutic vibrations of sound, I believe in the profound connection between mind, body, spirit, and the harmonious rhythm of life.

Why Yin Yoga

I was drawn to the practice of Yin Yoga as a profound and nurturing counterbalance to the fast-paced rhythm of modern life. In the serene stillness of Yin, I discovered a sanctuary where patience, introspection, and deep relaxation intertwine. The deliberate, prolonged holds in each posture allow me to delve into the connective tissues, promoting flexibility and a sense of release that extends beyond the physical realm.

This meditative approach to yoga offers a unique opportunity to explore the subtle nuances of my inner world, fostering a profound mind-body connection. As I embraced the gentle surrender inherent in Yin Yoga, I found a transformative practice that not only complements my active lifestyle but also serves as a gateway to inner peace and a more holistic understanding of well-being.
